Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday held a high-level review meeting at the Secretariat on law and order, taking a serious note of the gruesome murder of T. Lakshmi Naidu, a resident of Kandukur. Home Minister V. Anitha, MA&UD Minister P. Narayana, Director-General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta, and Kandukur MLA I. Nageswara Rao were present. The Chief Minister also directed the officials to compensate those injured in the attack on a car related to the murder. Pawan will receive four acres of land, ₹5 lakh cash, and the state government would bear all medical expenses. Reiterating the government’s commitment to uphold law and order, the Chief Minister said such heinous acts would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
