The Bench headed by Justice Abdul Rehim directed the Bar Council of Kerala to take action against the lawyer of the petitioner, who was found connived with the petitioner to file the false case. The court observed that the available materials prima facie indicated that his lawyer Elsa U. Ambrail had colluded with the petitioner in abusing the process of the court in a totally mala-fide manner. The court held that the petitioner Praveen S., Thuruvikkal, Thiruvananthapuram, had filed the habeas corpus petition seeking production of the girl with the intention to harass the family of the girl and know the present details of the girl.
