AMD seems to be going more broad with its artificial intelligence infrastructure plan using the AMD Helios, a rack-scale platform that kinda mashes computing, acceleration, and networking together into one architecture, like all in the same room. AMD calls Helios an open, rack-scale AI infrastructure design aimed at frontier AI and sovereign computing. In a way, with Instinct GPUs, EPYC CPUs, Pensando networking, and ROCm software all working together, AMD seems to be going after the kind of foundation you need for bigger and more complicated AI workloads that keep arriving.
