The Opposition Left Democratic Front at the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation has slammed Mayor V.V.Rajesh over claims regarding his U.S. trip. LDF Parliamentary Party leader S.P.Deepak accused him of misleading the public by making tall claims on a private visit. “The Mayor, who went on a private visit at the invitation of an American Malayali association is making baseless claims not befitting the position of Mayor. While the Mayor claims that he will bring development benefits from his trip to America, he should also talk about the current realities in America, he said. “He is making such claims without any clarity about the effects of American policies on India’s trade sector and the diaspora community.
