KAZIPET (HANAMKONDA): The three-day Urs celebrations at the Biabani dargah in Kazipet concluded on Wednesday, with organisers estimating that around 1.5 lakh devotees from Telangana and other parts of the region visited the shrine during the festivities.
Following special prayers at the dargah in the afternoon, Rifayi fakirs performed traditional feats that drew large crowds.
Organisers said the Rifayi feats were performed as part of the rituals at the shrine.
Devotees from different faiths, including Muslims, Hindus and Christians, participated in the three-day Urs, which organisers said reflected the dargah’s tradition of religious harmony.
The Urs concluded with the Badavotsavam after special prayers, offerings and other spiritual programmes.
