He said the Union government had included the issue of Telangana projects in the GRMB agenda based on the AP Chief Minister’s letter. Vinod Kumar said it was not proper to seek cancellation of permissions for projects that had been constructed after obtaining the required permissions and then include the matter in the GRMB agenda. He criticised Telangana MPs for remaining silent while the AP government sought cancellation of permissions for seven irrigation projects in the state. The BRS leader urged MPs to visit Delhi immediately, meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and take steps to remove the issue from the GRMB agenda. He warned that the BRS would launch an agitation if the issue was not removed from the agenda.
