The month-long Aashada maasam Saare offering festival at the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri concluded on Wednesday amid religious fervour and a festive atmosphere.
Temple staff and their families participated in the concluding ceremony and offered the final Saare to Goddess Sri Kanaka Durga, whom devotees traditionally regard as a member of their household.
The concluding ceremony coincided with Ashada Bahula Amavasya, the last day of the Aashada month.
Seena Naik and his wife, along with Temple Trust Board chairman Borra Radhakrishna (Gandhi), offered the concluding Saare on behalf of the temple staff.
Devotees offered Saare to the Goddess, while temple priests performed a special mass blessing ceremony and distributed prasadam free of cost.
