HYDERABADA delegation of Telangana Congress MPs met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in New Delhi on Wednesday, seeking faster clearance of key railway projects and infrastructure works in the State. The delegation, comprising Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna, Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, Nagarkurnool MP Mallu Ravi and Zaheerabad MP Suresh Shetkar, discussed pending railway projects, station upgrades and public infrastructure needs. Mr. Vamsi Krishna sought an update on the proposed ₹4,000-crore Ramagundam-Manuguru railway line and urged the Minister to expedite the project. The delegation also met Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and submitted a representation seeking approval and implementation of major road infrastructure projects in Telangana. The MPs said the proposed projects would strengthen Telangana’s connectivity, logistics network and economic growth and urged their early clearance.
