IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, on Wednesday, accused Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao of making ‘false statements’ and attempting to mislead the public on issues related to land allocation and the proposed Hyderabad Industrial Lands Transformation Policy (HILTP). Mr. Sridhar Babu also alleged that the BRS leader was attempting to create unnecessary apprehension among industrialists and said such actions were detrimental to Telangana’s development. On development, Mr. Sridhar Babu said the Congress government was continuing policies that had been followed by previous governments where they were beneficial to the State. He also accused the previous BRS regime of causing serious damage to Telangana’s interests in matters relating to water allocations.
