Firefighters say they are making "really good progress" tackling a large fire on a Hull industrial estate, but they will be at the scene "for some time". Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said multiple crews were tackling the fire at Whites Skip Hire on Reservoir Road, which broke out at about 19:10 BST on Tuesday. Humberside Police said Reservoir Road and Clough Road were closed and advised motorists to use alternative routes. "Crews arrived within four minutes to the fire well established and we have been tackling the blaze all night. Whites Skip Hire is a family-run business which has a waste-tipping facility and specialises in skip hire, recycling, landscaping products and decking.
