NIT-Calicut begins new academic session with 900 PG and PhD scholars

The National Institute of Technology-Calicut (NIT-C) on Wednesday conducted its orientation programme for newly admitted postgraduate (PG) and doctoral (PhD) scholars.
Reflecting high academic demand and institutional prestige, the institute recorded complete seat utilisation across all PG and PhD disciplines, with more than 900 students joining the campus this session.
Prof. Prasad Krishna, Director of NIT-C, presided over the inaugural function.
Addressing the incoming batch, Dr. Anandharamakrishnan emphasised the critical role of cutting-edge research, technology development, and innovation in driving national growth.
