FSSAI imposes prohibition orders on three food companies in Rajasthan

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has prohibited Shree Shyam Foods, Bharat Food Products and KDP Food Industry from selling , distributing, manufacturing and storage of “unsafe food products” in Rajasthan for two months.
It has has also imposed penalties on Dharwad Mishra Pedha and Food Processing Industry, Karnataka and Shree Chemfood Pvt.
The lab also declared samples of ghee manufactured by Bharat Food Products under Delhi Dairy brand as “unsafe”.
Removal From Sale“The continued sale, distribution, manufacture, storage, display and offering for sale of these unsafe food products is likely to pose grave risk to public health.
“The sample of motichoor ladoo was declared substandard under FSS Act, 2006.
