The consolidated net profit of Tamilnadu Petroproducts Ltd (TPL) more than doubled to ₹80 crore in the quarter ended June 2026 (Q1FY27), compared with ₹35 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Consolidated revenue rose 68 per cent to ₹778 crore (₹463 crore). The company said the higher performance was supported by increased customer demand, cost-led operational efficiencies and improved capacity utilisation. He added that despite the evolving geopolitical situation in West Asia resulting in increased input costs, lower import pressures supported the quarter’s overall performance. TPL remains focused on strengthening competitiveness while developing carbon-neutral products and solutions addressing the evolving sustainability needs of customers, he said.
