A boat carrying more than 90 people capsized in Western Zimbabwe on Lake Kariba, the world’s largest man-made lake, police said.
Efforts are underway to rescue the 90 passengers and five crew members, police said in a post on X, adding that further details would be released in due course.
The boats operated by the Rural Infrastructure Development Agency are used to provide affordable public water transport.
