Tata Group stocks fell up to 5 per cent on Wednesday after Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran had resigned, triggering a selloff across the conglomerate’s listed companies.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) led the losses, falling 5 per cent, while Tata Motors PV declined 4 per cent.
Titan Company, Tata Elxsi, Tata Technologies, Tata Consumer Products, Tata Investment Corporation and Tejas Networks also traded in negative territory.
Trent and Tata Motors traded flat.
N Chandrasekaran has resigned as chairman of Tata Sons but will serve out his current term.
