A 45-year-old woman from Warangal, who was allegedly confined and harassed in Muscat for nearly 25 days, has returned to India following the intervention of BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao. Following his intervention, efforts were made to trace her with the help of the Indian Embassy and Muscat Police. She was taken to the Indian Embassy and kept under the care of officials for three days. Mr. Rao urged people seeking jobs in Gulf countries not to travel on tourist visas. He advised job seekers to travel only on valid employment or work visas and verify recruitment agents, employers and job offers before leaving India.
