Mr. Yadav visited the Home Guard headquarters in Bhopal and reviewed the situation virtually from the State Disaster Management Situation Room, and issued directions to officials. The Chief Minister said that rescue efforts were being conduced even in nights while food arrangements are also being made for people stuck at homes. Mr. Yadav also spoke with affected people and personnel involved in rescue efforts through video conferencing. Mr. Yadav expressed regret over the incident and said that the area had received nine inches of water fall on Sunday night.
