The Egmore police have launched a search for two motorcycle-borne men who allegedly snatched a chain from a 65-year-old domestic worker on Tuesday morning. Police said Rama was walking to her workplace when two men on a motorcycle approached her. The pillion rider allegedly snatched the chain she was wearing and the duo fled the spot. During the inquiry, police found that the chain snatched by the suspects was an imitation jewellery and not gold. A case has been registered and the police are examining CCTV footage from the area to identify the motorcycle and trace the suspects.
