Prime Minister Tarique Rahman stated that a nation becomes strong when its people’s economic capability is ensured. The Prime Minister also commented that the government’s goal is to lead the country to a strong economic and social position. Emphasizing domestic investment alongside foreign investment, the Prime Minister said that foreign investment is certainly welcome, and the government desires it. The Prime Minister thanked the two business groups that took responsibility for the three mills. Also speaking at the event were Commerce, Industry, and Textiles & Jute Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir, State Minister for Textiles & Jute Shariful Alam, Secretary of Textiles & Jute Sharof Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury, Chairman of PRAN-RFL Group Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, and Managing Director of Hamco Group ATM Mostafa.
