Hyderabad: Tanishq has launched Malle, its first uncut diamond collection created specifically for southern India, drawing inspiration from the cultural significance of Malli (jasmine) in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
According to a statement, the collection reinterprets jasmine buds, flowers, and garlands through traditional south Indian jewellery forms, including Bottu Malas, Guttapusalu haars, jhumkis, necklaces, and chokers, as well as bangles, bracelets, rings, and pendants.
The pieces are crafted in 18K gold with uncut diamonds and gemstones, including emeralds, rubies, sapphires and pearls.
Pelki Tshering, chief marketing officer, Tanishq, said the idea was to turn an element traditionally worn alongside jewellery into jewellery itself.
Ahead of Varamahalakshmi, Tanishq is offering up to Rs 601 off per gram on gold jewellery from August 19 to 22, along with additional offers on making charges and diamond value.
