Vice President Vance swiped back at Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed in a Midwestern battle of words, calling El-Sayed "crazy."
El-Sayed on Wednesday went after Vance by referring to him as "Peter Thiel's boy," referencing the tech mogul under whom Vance has worked and saying, "I think we've had enough of him."
Vance was asked about El-Sayed's comments later in the week, saying El-Sayed "would be a terrible senator for the people of Michigan."
I'm the vice president, it comes with the territory," Vance said, responding to El-Sayed in an interview that aired Saturday on Fox News's "Saturday in America."
