Canadian swimmer Summer McIntosh, right, sits down for an interview with CBC Sports reporter Devin Heroux, left, on Monday in Irvine, Calif., ahead of the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships. (CBC Sports)McIntosh acknowledges she doesn’t fully know where she’ll be in terms of a time in the event, but she's not ruling out a world record.
