House Limerick, the bar and restaurant on the banks of the Shannon, is to shut permanently with the loss of almost 60 jobs.
House Limerick has been one of the best-known hospitality venues on Limerick’s riverfront for almost a decade.
Before becoming House Limerick, it was home to Peter Clohessy’s Bar and The Sin Bin nightclub, both of which were strongly associated with Limerick’s social and late-night economy.
House Limerick opened in 2016 following a significant refurbishment of the former Sin Bin premises by the Nola Clan hospitality group.
A spokesperson for the receivers Interpath said: "Following an extended period during which all available options were explored to secure the future of House Limerick, the business will cease trading.
