Urban Development Minister Yathindra Siddaramaiah called on senior Congress MLAs H.C. Mahadevappa, K. Venkatesh and Tanveer Sait in Mysuru on Tuesday, seeking their cooperation and guidance in discharging his responsibilities. The meeting of the disgruntled MLAs coincided with a programme organised by the Mysuru City and District Congress Committee to mark former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s 79th birthday. Mr. Yathindra said he had planned to meet the senior MLAs at their residences to seek their guidance and blessings. The Urban Development Minister said he wanted to meet the senior MLAs and seek their guidance for the development of Mysuru, as the Minister in-charge of the district. “He resigned just a day after being asked to give up the Chief Minister’s position.
