Student enrolment in government schools, including local body and other State-run institutions, in Peddapalli district has increased by 4.81% in the current academic year (2026-27) compared with last year. REIS, model schools, KGBVs and URSs across Peddapalli district this academic year till date. Peddapalli district has recorded the second-highest percentage increase in student enrolment in the State, next only to Mancherial district, official sources said. The government has set an enrolment target of 34,254 students for Peddapalli district for the current academic year. Peddapalli District Collector Koya Sree Harsha congratulated officials, teachers and others who contributed to the increase in enrolment in the district.
