A team of Government Railway Police (GRP) reportedly rescued a 30-year-old woman who attempted to end her life at Vijayawada railway station on Tuesday. According to GRP, Vijayawada, unidentified persons made a call and informed that a woman was allegedly making attempts to end her life on Platform No. Ramana and other officers rushed to the spot and rescued the woman. Mr. Ramana then alerted her relatives and the family members, provided her counselling and handed her over to them.
