The anxieties and frustrations of Gen Z are finding an expression in demonstrations now, the origins of which can be traced to online dissent that has turned into physical action. Sensing this, the antennas of politician are up, and leaders are falling over each other to woo the youth. That is the sense one got from being at an event that recognises the power of the innovation of youth. The idea of backing entrepreneurship while drilling into young minds that ideas have no meaning unless they are translated into action has produced wonders while bringing recognition to the laudable spirit of innovation. There is hope, after all, that today’s youth will not be swallowed by the negative impact of AI on job creation.
