Hyderabad: The post-mortem examination of Dr Kanike Priyanka was conducted at Gandhi Hospital on Monday. Her last rites will be performed at Eklaspur village in Aiza mandal of Jogulamba Gadwal district. Minister Vakiti Srihari and Rajahmundry Urban MLA Srinivas met Priyanka’s father and offered their condolences to the bereaved family. Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy and many others are going to attend the final rites. Dr Kanike Priyanka, 29 died in KIMS hospital on Sunday, nearly a week after she sustained grievous injuries when she was run over by a car driven by two allegedly drunk youths in Rajamahendravaram on August 3.
