The driver of the car has been apprehended.The deceased was identified as Jaiwanti, a resident of East Mehram Nagar who worked as a domestic help. The accident took place around noon when she was crossing the road to return home for lunch. The impact was severe and she died on the spot, police said.According to police, a PCR call was received about a car hitting a woman.
