Thiruvananthapuram: An SFI activist accused in a case related to the attack on ED officials who were returning after conducting a search at the residence of former chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan as part of a money laundering probe against his daughter was detained at Chennai airport, police said on Monday. According to police, the detained person was identified as Adarsh, a member of the SFI Chala Area Committee. Police said Adarsh was detained at Chennai airport on Monday after arriving there from Dubai. Police officials from the Thiruvananthapuram Museum police station will travel to Chennai to take custody of Adarsh, officials said. Police registered a case against around 300 CPI(M), DYFI and SFI activists in connection with the incident.
