Hyderabad: The body of a medical student K Priyanak was handed over to her family members here on Monday. The doctors at Gandhi hospital performed an autopsy and handed over the body. The family members shifted the body to the native place in Gadwal district to perform last rites. She was initially taken to a hospital in Rajamahendravam before being shifted to their facility in Hyderabad for further evaluation and management. Priyanka sustained a severe head injury and died while Umesh suffered minor injuries.
