HYDERABAD: Skyroot Aerospace said it had signed a multi-launch agreement (MLA) withspace technology company HEX20 to launch its Earth-observation constellation and in-orbit payload demonstration missions aboard the Vikram series of launch vehicles. Under the agreement, HEX20 has booked three dedicated launches with Skyroot. Beginning in the last quarter of 2027, these missions will fly on the Vikram series, supporting HEX20’s spacecraft while also opening rideshare opportunities for third-party spacecraft. The agreement follows Skyroot’s launch of Vikram-1, India’s first privately developed orbital-class rocket, which reached orbit on its first attempt last month. Demand for dedicated small-satellite launches continues to outpace global supply, and the company’s near-term manifest is filling quickly — the HEX20 agreement accounts for three of those slots.
