Shares of BSE closed flat at ₹3,605 on the NSE after declining to ₹3,534.60 during the session, on Tuesday, while Wipro traded flat, after the National Stock Exchange (NSE) announced that BSE will replace Wipro in the Nifty 50 index effective September 30. BSE will enter the Nifty 50 as part of the NSE’s half-yearly review of its benchmark and broader market indices. Wipro, which will leave the Nifty 50, will move to the Nifty Next 50.
