Hyderabad:The Telangana Housing Board has received over 35,000 applications for its Indiramma LIG housing scheme as the deadline closed at 5 pm on Monday. The scheme offers 7,680 one-bedroom ownership flats across 16 Assembly constituencies in Hyderabad’s Core Urban Region Economy (CURE) area. Officials said applications surged on the final day and the count may rise further once submissions are consolidated. Beneficiaries will contribute ₹6 lakh, with a government subsidy of ₹5 lakh and land provided free of cost. Eligibility requires an annual family income of up to ₹6 lakh, residence within the CURE area and no ownership of a house, flat or plot within ORR limits.
