New Delhi: National Democratic Alliance (NDA) MPs on Tuesday held a protest march towards Parliament against the Opposition's continued disruption of proceedings in both Houses. The MPs were seen carrying placards targeting Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of avoiding a debate on the issue of student protests. The protest comes amid an ongoing confrontation between the government and the Opposition over recent student protests and police action against demonstrators. The NDA MPs also demanded answers from Congress MP Rahul Gandhi over the police lathi charge and use of water cannons against protesting JPSC and JSSC aspirants in Jharkhand on Monday. On Monday, Rahul Gandhi said the Opposition was not interested in hearing Shah's "opinion" and wanted answers on who ordered the police crackdown.
