LAHORE - Pakistan reaffirmed their growing dominance in regional volleyball by defeating Bangladesh in straight sets to win the ZONG 5G Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Men’s Volleyball Championship 2026 at the Liaquat Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad, on Wednesday. Although the visitors mounted resistance in the third set, Pakistan remained composed at crucial moments to wrap up the title in convincing fashion. The championship, organised by the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) under the auspices of the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA), featured six teams and highlighted the rising standard of volleyball across the region. Pakistan’s Musawer Khan was selected as best middle blocker, while Murad Khan was named best opposite player. Bangladesh’s Al Amin MD claimed the best setter award, Md Naieem Hossen was recognised as best middle blocker and Md Shaon Ali was named best libero.
