ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Wednesday reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation with Kuwait in diverse fields. He expressed these views while talking to the Foreign Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, who called on him in Islamabad. He said Pakistan and Kuwait enjoy longstanding fraternal relations founded on shared values and mutual trust. Discussing the regional situation, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s complete solidarity with the leadership and people of Kuwait and strongly condemned the attacks on Kuwait and other brotherly Gulf countries during the ongoing conflict. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, regional security and steps to further strengthen bilateral cooperation were discussed, said an ISPR press release.
