Commenting on the US-Saudi strikes against pro-Iranian militia groups in Iraq, Trump said they were coordinated with the Iraqi government. Iranian official says it’s a ‘major miscalculation’ to blame Iran for attacks from other countries. The ministry and the US military’s Central Command later said they hit multiple sites in eastern Iraq that were used by Iran to direct drone attacks. Meanwhile Iraq vows to defend its sovereignty and to prevent its territory from being used against neighboring countries, following the deadly US-Saudi strikes on the country. Egypt has until now not been hit by Iranian drone strikes.
