NATHIAGALI - Amid hide and seek between sunshine and clouds over Galiyat hills, tourists alongwith families flocked to Nathiagali and Thandyani to celebrate Pakistan’s independence day in most beffting manner. Wearing a green shirt and traditional Peshawari chappal, her husband Omar Khan looked every bit an enthusiastic Independence Day traveller. His friend Zeeshan Khan, a public sector employee, believes that Pakistan’s young population represents both its greatest opportunity and its greatest responsibility especially in tourism and Information technology. Tourists arrived from different parts of the country, particularly Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab, turning the mountain resorts into lively gathering places. But perhaps the most telling images came from places such as Galiyat, where patriotism are blended naturally with Pakistan’s landscape.
