Bengaluru: A leopard was spotted at around 6.30 pm on Monday in Bengaluru's Banashankari, near the Turahalli forest area. Locals reportedly used firecrackers to drive it away. The leopard is suspected to have entered the residential area from the nearby Turahalli forest. Repeated leopard sightings have increased anxiety among residents of nearby residential areas, with some people now hesitant to venture out of their homes. A similar leopard sighting was reported in the Banashankari area around two months ago.
