Kadapa: Junior doctors at RIMS Hospital in Kadapa launched a strike on Tuesday, protesting several demands, including the non-payment of stipends for the past few months. Around 300 junior doctors are participating in the protest. As part of the strike, the doctors stopped all medical services from 9 am to 1 pm, except emergency services. The Junior Doctors’ Association said its representatives had met the Director of Medical Education (DME), and other officials to discuss their demands. Junior Doctors’ Association leader Dr Shivraj urged the authorities to implement stipend revision and fulfil the doctors’ demands without further delay.
