Hyderabad: The Central government has finalised seven sites including one in Warangal for setting up PM MITRA Parks. The site was selected under brownfield category and Rs.300 crore has already been expended towards development of trunk infrastructure. Currently, the park is operational with around 548 acres of land already being allotted to investors and commercial production has started. Once completed, the project is envisaged to generate one lakh direct and two lakh indirect jobs. This was stated by the Minister of State for Textiles Pabitra Margherita while responding to a question raised by the BJP MP M Raghunandan Rao on PM MITRA Park for Telangana in Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
