Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu directed the officials to draw an action plan to achieve 15 per cent growth rate, despite the El Nino effect. He told the officials to ensure that the burden of price rise does not fall on the public. After examining the finance report for July 2026, he suggested that every government department should use the resources efficiently to reach its highest goals. According to the finance report, in the second trimester, 10.7 growth rate was registered, 9.9 per cent of actual growth rate which is better than the national average recorded for the last two years. Over 13.5 per cent growth rate was recorded in the agriculture sector, 10.6 per cent in the industrial, 9.9 per cent in the services sector.
