Indore: Madhya Pradesh police have offered to assist Karnataka authorities in their effort to trace a 31-year-old Indore native who went missing four days ago during a solo trek near Bengaluru, an official said on Tuesday. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Dandotiya said that Indore police contacted investigators in Karnataka over the disappearance of Advait Upadhyay, a finance professional, at Shivagange in Nelamangala taluk. "We received information from social media that Advait Upadhyay, originally from Indore, had gone missing while trekking in Shivagange near Bengaluru. According to officials, Upadhyay, who worked at a financial firm in Bengaluru, was reported missing on August 7. Upadhyay, a resident of the Begur area, had reportedly informed his fiancee about his Shivagange trekking plan, and had hired a motorcycle for the same.
