HYDERABAD: BJP Assembly floor leader Aleti Maheshwar Reddy on Tuesday alleged deep-rooted corruption in Congress government and pointed to accusations by an INTUC federation general secretary, who had alleged that the wife of Deputy Chief Minister had sought 10 per cent commission for clearing her pension dues. Even a Congress-affiliated INTUC leader is accusing the Deputy CM’s spouse of taking commissions. Earlier, contractors protested in the Deputy CM’s chamber, alleging 30 per cent cuts,” Maheshwar Reddy said at a press conference. The BJP leader demanded details on over `4 lakh crore in loans taken by the Congress government. “In four months, the government borrowed `34,900 crore at the rate of `290.83 crore daily, `12.12 crore hourly and `20.20 lakh every minute,” he said.
