Amit Shah winds up Puducherry visit

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, on Sunday afternoon, wound up his two-day visit to Puducherry after participating in official programmes, one-on-one meetings with Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan, Chief Minister N. Rangasamy, Puducherry Home Minister A. Namassivayam, and events organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Sources said that at Lok Niwas, he had a few engagements, including meetings with Mr. Kailashnathan and Mr. Namassivayam.
He left Puducherry around 2.30 p.m after attending a lunch hosted by the Chief Minister at a hotel near the Rajiv Gandhi signal.
“Before the lunch, the Chief Minister had a brief meeting with Mr. Shah,” a source said.
He was seen off at the Puducherry Airport by Mr. Kailashnathan, Mr. Rangasamy, Mr. Namassivayam, and senior officials.
