Galway manager Cathal Murray has apologised for his comments about the Irish Examiner following last year’s All-Ireland final. At the time, Murray said the ratings of the players prior to last year’s win over Cork was "the biggest insult ever". “I know I got one thing wrong last year when I talked about the player ratings in the Irish Examiner,” said Murray. “I think when you open the Irish Examiner, you just see four or five pages of camogie all this week. As I said, I think they do brilliant coverage for camogie, and that's what we want, as all ye (media) do.”
