Pablo Astilla have been turned over by his descendants to local officials here in time for the revival by the municipal government of the commemoration of Infanta’s independence from Spain. Ruanto turned emotional as held the swords that he said represented not only the courage of Astilla but also the struggles and sacrifices of the people of Infanta during the fight for Philippine independence from Spain. “The swords are more than just weapons.
