A 24-year-old man from Bihar has been arrested for allegedly murdering his wife in Bengaluru, wrapping her body in a bedsheet, abandoning it inside their rented house, and fleeing. Kumar had allegedly fled to his native place, where he was traced subsequently and arrested by the Kumbalagodu police. According to the police, the couple rented a room in a four-storey building in Gerupalya near Kumbalagodu in December 2025. During interrogation, the accused allegedly told the police that he married Kumari after bringing her from Bihar to Bengaluru around 10 months ago without informing her family. The accused allegedly strangled his wife to death and fled to Bihar in an attempt to evade arrest.
