Puttaparthi MLA Palle Sindhura Reddy on Friday said investments worth about ₹1.51 lakh crore were being implemented in the Puttaparthi Assembly constituency, with major projects expected to generate employment and spur regional growth.
She said work had commenced on a fifth-generation fighter aircraft manufacturing project, estimated to cost ₹1 lakh crore, on 650 acres in Puttaparthi under the Union Ministry of Defence.
The MLA said a 6,000 MW solar power project, proposed at Amadagur in collaboration with Reliance Industries, would involve an investment of about ₹51,300 crore and span 30,000 acres.
Describing the projects as “game changers” for the constituency, she said they would create substantial employment opportunities for local youth.
Ms. Sindhura Reddy said the coalition government had repealed the Land Titling Act enacted by the previous YSRCP government and was issuing new pattadar passbooks bearing the State emblem and farmers’ photographs to safeguard their land rights.
